Objective
Impact provides consulting in the area of psychosocial care in case of disasters and is available 24 hours per day.
The consulting consists of:

• Support to professionals by means of substantive advice relating to the execution of their work.
• Support to policy makers in drafting policies relating to medium and long-term psychosocial care.
• Supporting authorities in their decision-making processes.

The objective of 24/7 availability for support in the area of psychosocial care in case of disasters or large-scale incidents is crucial. In case of such incidents there is a need for tailored advice that can be applied in the acute phase.

Way of working
Relief and assistance organisations as well as public bodies may call in the assistance of Impact staff to provide advice. In addition Impact can make available experts from a national network via the expertise database. Impact is supported by an advisory council consisting of leading experts who may be consulted for specific advice.
