Krefeld and Madrid Meetings

Introduction
In this fourth newsletter on the EUTOPA IP project, our guest editor Dr. Francisco Orengo Garcia of the Spanish partner SEPET+D reports on a meeting in Krefeld, dedicated to the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) from the World Health Organization (WHO) and a meeting in Madrid, where all partners gave an overview of the status of the taskforces and discussed different technical aspects of the project.

The overall objective of EUTOPA-IP is to implement and extend the products of EUTOPA, European Guideline for Target Group Oriented Psychosocial Aftercare. For more information on this project click here or read the previous newsletters (click here for newsletter 1, 2, 3)

Krefeld Meeting
The International Classification of Functioning (ICF) is considered an important standard and point of reference in the EUTOPA IP project, particularly in relation to the rehabilitation programme which is being developed. To get an impression of the extent to which the ICF is adopted by different European countries, the partners in the project attended a meeting in Krefeld where they presented the situation in their own country.
